The Process.

Composting is nature's recycling!

When you throw your compost items into a compost bin or pile, it stores any nutrients from items into the rich soil it produces. So that when you use the soil in gardens and farms, the plants are fed the nutrients gained from your food trash!

When your compost is decomposing, it's utilizing heat. Compost piles slowly heat up until eventually it gets to peak heat, at 155° where the microbes in your compost start to regenerate

Moisture content of the soil and oxygen availability all influence the temperature of the compost.

It’s important for air flow in your compost, as it gives oxygen-hungry microbes what they need to break down the materials in your compost faster.
